Teledyne FLIR offers premium online training and support for operators using our globally renowned Star SAFIRE 380 series systems. Beginning with our Star SAFIRE 380-HD, customers have full access to training courses covering a wide range of topics ranging System Basics, System Operations, Menu & Payload Operation, as well as Infrared Theory (non-ITAR). All of this is accessible with an easy and secure login on our Surveillance Training Dashboard. Training materials for the Star SAFIRE 380-HD are available today, with additional courses coming online for other platforms including Star SAFIRE 380X-HD, Star SAFIRE 380-HDc coming soon.

FLIRSIM TRAINING SIMULATOR
For customers in need of additional training in a simulated real-world environment, we also provide our virtual system training platform, FLIRSIM. A portable and rapidly deployed, all-inclusive system-level training tool. The system provide functional equivalency of an FAA Advanced Aircrew Training Device (AATD) for Star SAFIRE 380 family sensors. This is the ideal training platform for procedural and operation tasks, and delivers direction operational cost savings normally incurred during real-world training. Operators can plan and implement scenarios in a variety of environments and weather conditions to prepare for similar real-world conditions.
