How do I restore the default settings for a handheld FLIR camera?

If you are having difficulty with certain functions in your FLIR camera, or your PC is not responding to the USB connection, you can try to reset the camera to factory defaults. This will reset certain local parameters, e.g., units and the color palette, but it will not delete any images from the camera memory.

FLIR Cx series:

1. Tap the touch screen to show the menu bar.
2. Select Settings (gear button).
3. Select Device Settings.
4. Select Reset Options.
5. Select Reset device settings to factory default…

Modern FLIR E series (with the menu bar at the bottom):

1. Press the center button or tap the touch screen (Exx cameras only) to show the menu bar.
2. Select Settings (gear button).
3. Select Device Settings.
4. Select Reset Options.
5. Select Reset device settings to factory default…

Modern FLIR T series (with the menu bar at the bottom):

1. Press the touch screen to show the menu bar.
