Welcome to DELTA - Know Before You Fly – a video series that will give you the information you need to get your SIRAS drone operations started right. This episode will go over the firmware 1.3 update, which includes all previous updates and introduces several performance enhancements including FLIR MSX, new software capabilities and more!

 
Fully Automatic Radio

Improves signal quality in areas with potential radio interference, may offer extended radio range, and allows multiple ground control radios to be collocated.

Realtime FLIR MSX®

Improves thermal image quality and provides critical, time saving information.

Altitude Accuracy and Maximum

Improves altitude (MSL) accuracy and hold, plus enables flight up to 1,000 m AGL.

User-Readable Logging

Simplifies flight log data access and includes AirData™ UAV and DroneLogbook™ flight management software compatibility.

RTH and Obstacle Avoidance

Adds ability to turn off obstacle avoidance during RTH to increase airframe speed. For detailed instructions on how to perform the firmware update, please refer to the SIRAS user manual.
