Thermal Vision for ADAS and AV Developers

FLIR ADK™

Model: FLIR ADK, 640 x 512, GMSL1, 24° FOV Go to Product Support
product image

Thermal infrared cameras are the best sensor technology for pedestrian and animal detection, day or night. The FLIR ADK is a cost-effective way to develop the next generation of automotive thermal vision in advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous vehicles (AVs). ADK provides the critical data needed to improve automated decision-making in vehicle safety functions, including automatic emergency braking (AEB). The rugged, IP67-rated enclosure incorporates a heated window for all-weather driving. With GMSL, USB, and FPD-Link interface options available from Teledyne FLIR, integration is plug-and-play.

Creating Safer Roads of Tomorrow

  • See Clearly, Even in Challenging Lighting Conditions

Thermal sensors create images from heat, not light, so they can detect pedestrians and oncoming vehicles regardless of lighting conditions.

  • Next-Generation Thermal Vision is Plug-and-Play Easy

Start collecting thermal data in minutes.

  • Simple Interface Ports Data Directly into Analytics

    Easy set-up, operation, and integration.

Thermal Dataset for Algorithm Training

Thermal Dataset for Algorithm Training

The free thermal image features more than 26,000 annotated thermal and RGB images captured at day and night. The dataset includes classification of fifteen groups: bike, car, motorcycle, bus, train, truck, traffic light, fire hydrant, street sign, dog, skateboard, stroller scooter, and other vehicle, enabling developers to begin testing and evolving convolutional neural networks (CNN).
