FLIR United VMS named best new Video Surveillance Management System
The prestigious Security Industry Association's (SIA) annual New Product Showcase (NPS) has named FLIR's United VMS the top video surveillance management system for 2017 during the International Security Conference West (ISC West) on April 5 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
FLIR's United VMS is a comprehensive, scalable, enterprise-level video management solution for large and multi-location video security operations. The system includes FLIR Latitude software, FLIR Horizon and FLIR Meridian network video recorders, and an open platform design that allows for integration with third party technologies.
Established in 1979, the NPS is the security industry's premier award. It recognizes innovative electronic physical security technologies for residential, commercial and institutional applications in over 20 different categories, including video management systems. Experts, who are highly skilled in security technology design and who possess at least 10 years of industry experience, serve as the NPS judges. These judges view live presentations and demonstrations of each product before selecting a winner, and they honor the champions of each category in a ceremony at ISC West for the entire industry to see. The NPS program also offers a special display area at the conference where attendees can view the award-winning products, services and solutions. SIA is the leading trade association for global security solution providers, with more than 700 member companies representing thousands of security leaders ad experts who shape the future of the security industry. SIA advocates for pro-industry policies and legislation, conducts market research and provides education training on behalf of its members. It is the official sponsor of the ISC West conference, which is the largest security tradeshow in the United States with over 1,000 security companies and over 29,000 attendees.
