FLIR Introduces New Dragonfly 7 PRO Fishing Sonar and GPS

FLIR unveiled today at the New York Boat Show the new Raymarine Dragonfly 7 PRO, Raymarine’s most feature-rich sonar +GPS combination yet for fresh and coastal saltwater fishing. Offering the same advanced features as the award-winning Dragonfly 5 PRO, Dragonfly 7 PRO is equipped with an extra-large seven-inch display for maximum visibility, a super bright display, and higher resolution for photo-like sonar images thanks to the exclusive DownVision™.

Starting at $649.99, Dragonfly 7 PRO surpasses ordinary imaging sonars with deep water performance down to 600 ft. (180m) and high-speed bottom tracking. It also comes equipped with a conventional high-frequency CHIRP sonar channel for targeting fish and bottom tracking down to 900 ft. (277m).

Dragonfly 7 PRO’s fast acquisition 10Hz GPS sensor and mapping helps users stay on course, while Raymarine’s Wi-Fish™ mobile app lets them stream Compressed High Intensity Radiated Pulse “CHIRP” DownVision directly to their smartphone or tablet. Dragonfly 7 PRO’s built-in Wi-Fi also syncs with the Navionics Boating app to allow anglers to use Dragonfly’s CHIRP sonar to create their own high-definition bathymetry maps in real time.
