International Bat Weekend: Using FLIR Thermal Imaging for Bat Research Wednesday, August 24, 2016

In honor of International Bat Weekend, FLIR is showcasing how thermal technology can help in conservation and research efforts around the world. Bats have a major role to play in our ecosystem, but due to numerous threats, bat populations have declined significantly over the years. Bat Conservation Advisors, Simon Holmes and Joe Nunez-Mino, from the bat conservation trust in the UK, explain the important role FLIR’s thermal imaging cameras play in their work.
